Participation Event EDUCATION
June 12 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Free- This event has passed.
It is so hard when our child is struggling at school or even to attend in many cases. What is being done to help these children? There are new things happening within Education to develop the support for our children and their schools but what are they?
Rebecca Salmon and her team are back to let us know more about the PINS project in schools and what it could do to help Neurodiverse children.
Rachel Lambie from NESSie will be joining us too to explain the early days of their Emotional Based School Avoidance (EBSA) support for our children and for parents and carers.
Pinpoint provide help and information to parents and carers of children and young people aged 0-25 with additional needs and disabilities in Cambridgeshire.
No formal diagnosis is required to access support from Pinpoint – a child may be on a waiting list, accessing services, had a referral turned down, or just be struggling.
We offer signposting and events for all things SEND and are the Parent Carer Forum for Cambridgeshire. Pinpoint also give parent carers opportunities to have a say and get involved in improving local services.
You will be sent an email containing the Zoom link to access the session 2 days before, 2 hours before and at the start of the session. Please do check your junk mail and spam folders as these emails sometimes end up there!
Be comfortable at Pinpoint sessions – You can keep your camera off and stay on mute and simply join us and other parent carers who “get it” from your sofa 😊
