NESSie – Managing Big Emotions & Behaviour that Challenges in under 12’s

Many of us struggle to support our child when they are overwhelmed, especially when their behaviour becomes physical and aggressive. Many of us feel blame and shame, and there are not many places we can talk to others about this.

The more we understand what is happening biologically, the more we can help our child. Sarah Foster from NESSie is back to explain emotional dysregulation, executive dysfunction and strategies of support for behaviour that challenges in under-12s with SEND

Pinpoint provide help and information to parents and carers of children and young people aged 0-25 with additional needs and disabilities in Cambridgeshire.

No formal diagnosis is required to access support from Pinpoint – a child may be on a waiting list, accessing services, had a referral turned down, or just be struggling.

We offer signposting and events for all things SEND and are the Parent Carer Forum for Cambridgeshire. Pinpoint also give parent carers opportunities to have a say and get involved in improving local services.

Be comfortable at Pinpoint sessions – You can keep your camera off and stay on mute and simply join us and other parent carers who “get it” from your sofa 😊
