Preparing for our SEND Childs Future – Wills & Trusts

You told us in our Preparing for Adulthood sessions that you worry about the future for your child especially as they had additional needs, disabilities and health conditions. Money and legalities when we are no longer here, concerns many of us, but where do we start?

Steina McKenna from W&P Legal, will be with us to explain what we need to think about, what else we may want to consider. W&P Legal are one of the leading independent estate planning firms in the UK and Steina specialises in this area so will be explaining Wills and Trusts and answering your questions.

Pinpoint provide help and information to parents and carers of children and young people aged 0-25 with additional needs and disabilities in Cambridgeshire.

No formal diagnosis is required to access support from Pinpoint – a child may be on a waiting list, accessing services, had a referral turned down, or just be struggling.

We offer signposting and events for all things SEND and are the Parent Carer Forum for Cambridgeshire. Pinpoint also give parent carers opportunities to have a say and get involved in improving local services.

You will be sent an email containing the Zoom link to access the session 2 days before, 2 hours before and at the start of the session. Please do check your junk mail and spam folders as these emails sometimes end up there!

Be comfortable at Pinpoint sessions – You can keep your camera off and stay on mute and simply join us and other parent carers who “get it” from your sofa 😊
