ADDITIONAL SEND SUPPORT – What help is there when school is closed?

We know how lonely it can be for your whole family when you have a child with additional needs. We want to have a whole range of support for your child, your family and you too when Pinpoint and Schools are closed as we know only too well that this can be some of the hardest times.
Our ADDITIONAL SEND SUPPORT sessions bring organisations and professionals together with parents and carers to look at the needs of your whole family. Come and hear about what is happening already, where to to find support and let us know what else could help.
Pinpoint provide help and information to parents and carers of children and young people aged 0-25 with additional needs and disabilities in Cambridgeshire.
No formal diagnosis is required to access support from Pinpoint – a child may be on a waiting list, accessing services, had a referral turned down, or just be struggling.
We offer signposting and events for all things SEND and are the Parent Carer Forum for Cambridgeshire. Pinpoint also give parent carers opportunities to have a say and get involved in improving local services.
You will be sent an email containing the Zoom link to access the session 2 days before, 2 hours before and at the start of the session. Please do check your junk mail and spam folders as these emails sometimes end up there!
Be comfortable at Pinpoint sessions – You can keep your camera off and stay on mute and simply join us and other parent carers who “get it” from your sofa 😊
