Dental health - supporting your childs oral hygiene. Tuesday 25th June 12pm 1.30pm. Paediatric Dental Consultant Jackie Smallridge. Pinpoint logo. Pinpoint website

Teeth brushing can be a difficult part of the day but when your child has sensory needs or neurodiversity’s, this can lead to meltdowns which are distressing for the whole family. We worry that if this continues it could affect their overall health too.

Jackie Smallridge, Consultant in Paediatric Dentistry Dental Needs is here to give us advice, tips and strategies to help our child stay healthy. She is keen to work with us to develop a better understanding of what our children need in dental services to make the experience better for them and all SEND children.

Pinpoint provide help and information to parents and carers of children and young people aged 0-25 with additional needs and disabilities in Cambridgeshire.

No formal diagnosis is required to access support from Pinpoint – a child may be on a waiting list, accessing services, had a referral turned down, or just be struggling.

We offer signposting and events for all things SEND and are the Parent Carer Forum for Cambridgeshire. Pinpoint also give parent carers opportunities to have a say and get involved in improving local services.

You will be sent an email containing the Zoom link to access the session 2 days before, 2 hours before and at the start of the session. Please do check your junk mail and spam folders as these emails sometimes end up there!

Be comfortable at Pinpoint sessions – You can keep your camera off and stay on mute and simply join us and other parent carers who “get it” from your sofa 😊
