Understanding Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP's). Wednesday 26th June 12pm to 2pm. Pinpoint logo. Smart Bright Training logo. Pinpoint Website. Karen and Sara from Smart Bright Training

Most of us as parents probably hadn’t heard of an Education, Health and Care plan (EHCP) until our child is having issues. It is exhausting enough to give our child the extra support they need but to have to fill in forms, understand the process and what that means for our child can feel very overwhelming.

You are not alone and Karen and Sarah from Smart Bright training are with us to let us know what an EHCP is, what it isnt and why our child may need one. They will explain what to expect and how our parent voice is vital in the process.

Pinpoint provide help and information to parents and carers of children and young people aged 0-25 with additional needs and disabilities in Cambridgeshire.

No formal diagnosis is required to access support from Pinpoint – a child may be on a waiting list, accessing services, had a referral turned down, or just be struggling.

We offer signposting and events for all things SEND and are the Parent Carer Forum for Cambridgeshire. Pinpoint also give parent carers opportunities to have a say and get involved in improving local services.

You will be sent an email containing the Zoom link to access the session 2 days before, 2 hours before and at the start of the session. Please do check your junk mail and spam folders as these emails sometimes end up there!

Be comfortable at Pinpoint sessions – You can keep your camera off and stay on mute and simply join us and other parent carers who “get it” from your sofa 😊
