SEND Journey to Adulthood – what do parents need to know?
September 19 @ 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm
- This event has passed.
What happens when my SEND child leaves school? What can I be doing now while they are still in school? Who do I need to contact? So many questions and confusion!
This is an opportunity to create a guide so you, and parents and carers like you, know what they need to do and when. Let’s join the professionals and start with a blank sheet and help your child into adulthood.
Pinpoint provide help and information to parents and carers of children and young people aged 0-25 with additional needs and disabilities in Cambridgeshire.
No formal diagnosis is required to access support from Pinpoint – a child may be on a waiting list, accessing services, had a referral turned down, or just be struggling.
We offer signposting and events for all things SEND and are the Parent Carer Forum for Cambridgeshire. Pinpoint also give parent carers opportunities to have a say and get involved in improving local services.
You will be sent an email from Eventbrite containing the Zoom link to access the session 2 days before, 2 hours before and again 15min before. Please do check your junk mail and spam folders as these emails sometimes end up there!
Be comfortable at Pinpoint sessions – You can keep your camera off and stay on mute and simply join us and other parent carers who “get it” from your sofa 😊
