Masking – when your child’s behaviour at school and home is so different.

Why is it that school thinks your child is “fine” but you see extreme behaviours and meltdowns at home?

Could your child be “masking” their needs and anxiety in school to survive their school day?

Join us for a live discussion with Jo Keys as she dives into the topic of masking. You’ll gain a better understanding of what your child may be going through and what they might be trying to communicate. Don’t miss out on this valuable opportunity to connect with other parents and learn from a great speaker.

Pinpoint provide help and information to parents and carers of children and young people aged 0-25 with additional needs and disabilities in Cambridgeshire. No formal diagnosis is required to access support from Pinpoint – a child may be on a waiting list, accessing services, had a referral turned down, or just be struggling.

We offer signposting and events for all things SEND and are the Parent Carer Forum for Cambridgeshire. Pinpoint also give parent carers opportunities to have a say and get involved in improving local services.

You will be sent an email from Eventbrite containing the Zoom link to access the session 2 days before, 2 hours before and again 15min before. Please do check your junk mail and spam folders as these emails sometimes end up there!
