Pinpoint’s Education Information and Participation Session
Nicola Foreman Lead OT Cambs & Gerald Maidens, paediatric occupational therapist Helping Children to be ready to learn Workshops across mainstream schools.
Rebecca Salmon – Strategic Improvement Manager SEND Services 0-25 will be updating us on the Neurodiversity Pathway
These Participation Events are designed to give SEND parents and carers the chance to meet with professionals and give feedback. There is a section of the session where parent carers can ask questions about their own child’s needs too.
Pinpoint provide help and information to parents and carers of children and young people aged 0-25 with additional needs and disabilities in Cambridgeshire. No formal diagnosis is required to access support from Pinpoint – a child may be on a waiting list, accessing services, had a referral turned down, or just be struggling.
We offer signposting and events for all things SEND and are the Parent Carer Forum for Cambridgeshire. Pinpoint also give parent carers opportunities to have a say and get involved in improving local services.
You will be sent an email from Pinpoint containing the Zoom link to access the session 2 days before, 2 hours before and again 15 minutes before. Please do check your junk mail and spam folders as these emails often end up there!
Be comfortable at Pinpoint sessions – You can keep your camera off and stay on mute and simply join us and other parent carers who “get it” from your sofa 😊
