Accepting and Understanding ADHD in school. Wednesday 20th March 2024 12pm to 2pm. With Karen and Sarah from Smart Bright Training. Smart Bright Training logo. Pinpoint Cambridgeshire. Pinpoint Cambridgeshire logo.

Not all school staff have had the training needed to support your child with their ADHD. Pinpoint are working closely with the Education and LA in Cambridgeshire to improve this. There are now many more offers to schools to the develop skills and understanding with specialist support and training days.

In the meantime, Smart Bright Training are back with us to explain how to work with school, identify their needs, figure out together what could help our child feel settled and supported in the classroom

Pinpoint provide help and information to parents and carers of children and young people aged 0-25 with additional needs and disabilities in Cambridgeshire.

No formal diagnosis is required to access support from Pinpoint – a child may be on a waiting list, accessing services, had a referral turned down, or just be struggling.

We offer signposting and events for all things SEND and are the Parent Carer Forum for Cambridgeshire. Pinpoint also give parent carers opportunities to have a say and get involved in improving local services.

You will be sent an email containing the Zoom link to access the session 2 days before, 2 hours before and again 10 min before. Please do check your junk mail and spam folders as these emails sometimes end up there!

Be comfortable at Pinpoint sessions – You can keep your camera off and stay on mute and simply join us and other parent carers who “get it” from your sofa 😊
