Total Arts

Do you want to develop skills in dance, drama, music and film?

Total Arts is Cambridge Junction’s fortnightly participation group for disabled young people aged 13-25. It offers opportunities to participate in exciting arts activities with professional artists. Through participating you can also gain an Arts Award; a unique and nationally recognised qualification to develop creativity and confidence.

Assisted by a team of skilled support workers, Total Arts provides quality care, whist also enabling our participants to foster a lifelong passion for the arts.

Cambridge Arts Theatre

The Arts Theatre in Cambridge offers accessible performances throughout the year, including half-term and panto productions for children (see below).

As well as relaxed, audio-described, BSL-interpreted and captioned  performances, the theatre offers bookable Touch Tours.

For deaf/hard of hearing theatre-goers, the theatre has a Sennheiser infra-red hearing enhancement system, designed to help deaf and hard of hearing patrons both without hearing aids, and those who have hearing aids with a ‘T’ setting. It offers a limited number of headsets and personal induction loops free of charge.

There are eight spaces reserved for wheelchair users in the stalls and the theatre has two house wheelchairs which can be provided for all performances.

Reduced-price tickets

Where possible, there are reduced priced tickets for customers with disabilities and one companion. Please note: there are no discounts on bottom price seats.

Spotlight Theatre

Huntingdon’s musical youth theatre group.

Spotlight Productions has been the resident youth theatre at Hinchingbrooke School, Huntingdon since it was established in 2004. It is a non-profit-making community-based performing arts group committed to producing outstanding musical theatre for young people in the Cambridgeshire area. It is run by a team of dedicated enthusiastic volunteers. Its key aims are to:

Encourage and nurture singing, dancing and acting talent among 11-28 year olds
Perform much-loved musicals
Demonstrate to its audiences that a West End theatre experience can be had locally in Cambridgeshire.
