A monthly series of online sessions for parents and carers to help their child and family know what happens after school. These cover areas including further education, employment, housing, benefits, adult support and health. All welcome.

Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders

Peterborough and Surrounding Counties Family Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) Support Group runs a monthly support group at Peterborough which is open to Cambridgeshire families.

Support group sessions are held at The Spinney, Hartwell Way, Ravensthorpe, Peterborough. PE3 7LE, where it works in partnership with Little Miracles.

Shine Support Group

This group is for 0-5 year olds with Spina Bifida and/or Hydrocephalus and their parents. It is free to attend and people do not need to book, just turn up on the day. It meets once a month, 10am – 12noon. Siblings are welcome to attend and also parents-to-be if they are interested in learning more about the conditions.

Support, Offload, Chat

Support, Offload, Chat is a mutual support group for parents and carers of children with special needs based in Huntingdon. If you care for a child with additional needs and want to talk and share ideas with people in a similar situation, pop down for a cuppa and chat. SOC meets every Friday afternoon during term time,9-11am at Huntingdon Youth Centre, Sallowbush Road, PE29 7AF. You can turn up on the day. Huntingdon Children and Family Centre offer groups, events, activities, courses and support for families with children aged 0-19.  As well as our network of Child and Family Centres, we provide activities, groups, events and courses in libraries, churches and other community locations across the county. come and have a chat and access additional support.

Small Steps Huntingdon

Intensive Interaction Regional Support Network

Intensive Interaction Regional Support Network meets twice a term at various locations. Teaching pre-speech fundamentals to children and adults with severe learning difficulties and/or autism, who are at an early stage of communication development. Open to all.
