Hornets Inclusive All-Stars
Histon Hornets F.C are pleased to announce their new junior inclusion football sessions.
Following the success of our open age inclusive team joining us last season we are now
launching two U16 sessions.

7-11 year old sessions will be focusing on confidence, skills and building friendships in a
non-competitive environment.

12-16 year old sessions will be focusing on all the above with the aim to create a team
who can play against other similar teams in friendlies and hopefully a league.

Inclusion football is aimed at helping anyone who needs extra support to play the game.
This could be due to a physical, neurological, SEN or wellbeing need. We believe football
should be for all and work hard to break down any barriers players may face.

Our team of experienced FA coaches have a great in-depth of knowledge in inclusion and
impairment specific football, with our head of inclusion Zoe Harvey leading the sessions.
The aim is to provide a fun, safe space to play football

For more details see their Website or Facebook or contact Zoe Harvey – 07964 259452 – zoe.harvey@histonhornets.co.uk.

Histon Hornets is a new adult (16+) PAN disability team which is inclusive.

This 16 strong squad joined Histon Hornets from the Cambridge United Foundation and were formally known as Cambridge United PAN.

The team members all qualify to play inclusion football due to either a physical or neurological disorder and are either visually impaired, hearing impaired, have cerebral palsy, a mental health condition or learning disability.

Walking Football

Love  football but not  up to running around? Why not try Walking Football?

Walking football has become increasingly popular. It’s exactly as it sounds  – a standard game of football where players walk instead of run.’ It’s designed to help people get fit or maintain an active lifestyle no matter what their age and fitness, as well as support people getting back into football if they have given it up due to age or injury.

If you are interested in finding out how to get started in walking football, contact Living Sport’s Rebecca Evans – email  Rebecca.Evans@livingsport.co.uk or call 01487 849929.  You can find more info on the Living Sport website.

Leverington Sports and Social Club Disability Football Community Group
