Emotional Based School Avoidance (EBSA) Parent Guide
July 2 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am
Free- This event has passed.
“Does this work for you?” this is the question we would love you to answer so we can make sure this Emotional Based School Avoidance Parent Guide can really help parent carers like us when our child is unable to attend school.
Senior Educational and Child Psychologist for Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) Katy Roe will be with us to make sure SEND parent carer voices help to shape this valuable tool to look after our children when they need it the most.
Pinpoint provide help and information to parents and carers of children and young people aged 0-25 with additional needs and disabilities in Cambridgeshire.
No formal diagnosis is required to access support from Pinpoint – a child may be on a waiting list, accessing services, had a referral turned down, or just be struggling.
We offer signposting and events for all things SEND and are the Parent Carer Forum for Cambridgeshire. Pinpoint also give parent carers opportunities to have a say and get involved in improving local services.
You will be sent an email containing the Zoom link to access the session 2 days before, 2 hours before and at the start of the session. Please do check your junk mail and spam folders as these emails sometimes end up there!
Be comfortable at Pinpoint sessions – You can keep your camera off and stay on mute and simply join us and other parent carers who “get it” from your sofa 😊
