Pinpoint Team

Lenja Bell - Chief Executive Officer

Lenja took on the leadership of Pinpoint in November 2014. Formerly one of our Partnership and Participation Co-ordinators, she has a wealth of experience and expertise leading parent participation. She has also played a key role in developing support services around parental well-being and has run and facilitated parent support groups.  She also volunteers as the SEND Governor at a Cambridge secondary school.  She has two boys and lives in Cambridge.

Sue Platt - Finance

Formerly a Partnership and Participation Co-ordinator with us, Sue now steers our finances. She has two children with additional needs and is an active member of a number of parent support groups.  She has also volunteered for a charity offering SEN legal advice. Sue has 25 years of business experience working for a global company in major account development for government organisations and emergency services.

Eve Redgrave – Partnership & Participation Co-ordinator, Health & Social Care

Eve started out as a volunteer for us in 2009 and has since become a member of our management group, a trustee, a paid parent trainer and conference organiser. Since December 2014, she has been our P&PC for health services and social care. Mum to two children, including a son with autism, she previously worked for charity Action For Children, helping to organise holiday clubs for disabled young people in Cambridge City and South Cambs.

Jackie King – Partnership & Participation Co-ordinator, Education

Jackie joined our team in January 2015 to take up the role of Partnership and Participation Co-ordinator covering the education sector. She has two children, one with autism, and lives in Bar Hill.  As a former teacher, she is interested in all aspects of her new role, and with a teenager in the family, will be looking forward to developing projects around preparation for adulthood.

Carole Darlow - Administrator & Volunteer Coordinator

Carole joined us in November 2015 to support our parent participation activities and to develop our network of parent volunteers.  She has worked for social care at Cambridgeshire County Council for the last 15 years, supporting families with disabled children.  She is also mum to two children.

Kari Payne - Communications Officer

Kari joined us in December 2014 to run our communications channels including our website, our social media accounts, and our newsletter. A former journalist and freelance copywriter, Kari has two teenage children, including a son with autism and learning disabilities. Her family lives in Cambourne.

Parent Representatives

A number of parents act as representatives on boards, at events, commissioning panels, interview panels and other places where parent representatives can influence decision-making across health, education and social care.

We have a loyal team of parents who support us on a voluntary basis.  They work in many different capacities, from parent representatives, to helping at our network meetings and promoting our organisation and our work. Could you spare a few hours to work with us? We’d love to have you on board. Please contact us by phone 01480 499043 or email us.
